Someone who specializes on the electrical wiring of buildings, machines and stationary is referred to as an electrician. The roles and responsibilities of an electrician is dependent on the area of specialization. Forming electrical circuits by connecting electrical wires to components and fixtures and testing completed circuit is one of the role of electrician.
The best position for heating outlets, electrical outlets, light fixtures and ventilation systems is done for new buildings which require planning of the electrical system as another role of an electrician. The next responsibility or role is installing wiring, lighting and control systems in new and existing buildings according to municipal codes. Electricians when carrying out their daily work activities use various positions such as kneeling, squatting and bending.
Intellectual ability, interpersonal skills, knowledge of safety codes, character traits and ethics and finally business ethics these are some of the factors that are considered when choosing an electrician. Time management, customer service and personal service, clerical abilities and working with a team or people management are the basic business skills in business understanding. As for interpersonal skills the following are required; active listening, communication skills, observation skills and empathy and instructing.
